The Coos County Conservation District has been approached by multiple land owners over the years about wanting to conserve and preserve their land. Many family farms and woodlots in Coos County are being sold off and sub divided creating more 5 acre house lots and less workable land. If you are interested in keeping your land safe from being subdivided and sold in the future years, want to be sure your land stays as workable land for future generations and more please join us in discussing conservation easements and possibly creating a future Land Trust specifically for the residents of Coos County.
