No Till Drill Demo

No Till Drill Demo

This event will be utilized as a training for farmers who would like to rent the District’s No Till Drill. If you would like to rent the No Till Drill in the future please plan on attending this training/event. Reservations can be made at the event, so you do not want to miss it!

We also have a great line up of speakers and additional equipment for view/rent at the event. Willie Gibson, an Agronomist with Northeast Agriculture will speak on the benefits of No Till practices, Nicholas Rowley the Coos County UNH Agriculture Field Technician will speak about cover crops, Steven Stocking will explain what the Connecticut River Watershed Farmers Alliance has to offer, NRCS staff will speak briefly on the programs they offer, and the District will have our lime/wood ash spreader and tool trailer on site for observation, questions, and reservations. Of course, we cannot forget our main speakers Aaron Bourke from Champlain Valley Equipment and Pierce Randall from Great Plains Manufacturing. They will be presenting the District with the drill for the first time and will discuss how to operate and care for the drill when renting it from the District.

Please RSVP to the Coos County Conservation District Manager if you plan on attending the event. Whitney can be contacted via email: da.cccd@gmail.com or call 603-503-9014.
