Description
- Popular and widely grown with moderate-high yields
- Round to oblong tubers with buff and flakey skin with white flesh
- Great chip potato and cooking potato
- Requires full sun in well drained soils
- Plant 3-4” deep and 15-18” apart
- Matures in 85-90 days
- Plants will emerge within a month; when they are 6-8” tall, hill them by mounding soil from each side of the row about 4” high along the base of plants (protects them from greening), repeat as plants continue to grow, until hills are 12” high
- After plant has died back, wait 2 weeks then dig up
- Brush off soil and allow skins to dry before storing
- Store in a cool (40 degrees F), dark humid place
