The Coos County Conservation District will be hosting an Erosion Control Workshop for landowners, trail builders, foresters, loggers, and septic designers and installers!

*6 Subsurface credits will be offered to septic designers and installers to keep their licenses up to date!*

The schedule is still being finalized at this time; however, we are hoping to have the following topics and presenters:

-Trout Unlimited to discuss culvert sizes

-DOT to discuss BMPS & regulations

-NRCS to discuss the importance of soils

-loam & seed requirements, cover cropping to stabilize the grounds

-DES to discuss septic installing and what they look for

-UNH Coop Extension to discuss invasive plants

-Small site erosion control

-Roadside ditches & swales

-Wetlands & permits
