- Plant in early spring in well prepared, well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0 to 6.8 in an area of full sun
- Thoroughly mix a 1:1 ratio fertilizer into the soil, ¼ cup per plant prior to planting.
- Set divisions 3 feet apart in the row.
- Place the buds upright in the soil covered with 1-2 inches of soil and tamp down firmly, water after planting.
- Do not allow crowns to dry out or set in water-logged soil.
- Harvest late spring to early summer
- Mature height 24-48 inches
